Business Intelligence's "Open Edit Page on Record Creation" option is not compatible with Salesforce's Lightning Experience (LEX) as the following messaging will be displayed when saving a Record from the "Edit" page in this Salesforce Experience:

It's important to note that the Record is still created however we strongly advise disabling this "Application Option" if predominately working in Salesforce's Lightning Experience (LEX) by asking your Salesforce System Administrator to perform the following steps:

Business Intelligence > Configuration > Application Options > Open Edit Page on Record Creation > Disabled

The error will no longer be displayed once this option is disabled and the configuration saved.
