How to Clean Your Data: Step-by-Step:
It is recommended to follow the below steps to ensure your data is ready for the migration.
- Review Existing Records
- Access the Compliance Search > Ongoing Monitor
- Export your current Person and Business records as CSV files
- Update or Remove Outdated Information
- Use the provided Refresh Templates to update the records you want to keep
- Use the Delete Templates to remove unwanted records
- Re-upload Clean Files
- Re-upload your updated CSVs into Compliance Search using the Refresh or Delete function
Any records not included in the refresh upload will be deleted automatically.
Individual and Business Data Templates
Person & Business Refresh Templates: For updating existing records
- Recommendation: Save the exported CSV file before the refresh for backup or future use.

Person & Business Delete Templates: For removing outdated or irrelevant records
- Recommendation: Save the exported CSV file as a backup in case the delete operation fails or needs to be reversed manually.

Test Your Data Migration (Optional)
You can nominate your organisation for a test migration to preview how your data will look in KYC Protect. This is optional but highly recommended.
