Country Data Quality expresses our confidence in the coverage and reliability of the data available to assess a country’s creditworthiness.
This metric is quantitatively measured by the proportion of sovereign risk indicators available for each country within the model.
Countries are classified into five categories: Very Good, Good, Medium, Poor, and Very Poor, based on the percentage of available indicators. Each category is paired with a corresponding coverage statement: Very Good Coverage, Good Coverage, Moderate Coverage, Limited Coverage, or Very Limited Coverage.
If data coverage falls below the minimum threshold, the model assigns a “Not Available” classification, ensuring that only countries with adequate data coverage are included in the sovereign risk assessment.
