There are several different user status' available for users in Customer Self Service. Below are the list of status' and a brief description of what they mean. In some cases, it is possible that there will be multiple status' assigned to a user. 


The possible status' are below:


Activation required

Activation required means the user has not yet activated their Creditsafe account. They will need to log into the platform to activate their account. 


Password reset in progress

The email address associated with the account has received a password reset email. The user will need to create a new password to login. 


Pending user login 

This is a user that has not logged in since the customer account upgrade to using email address logins. Their status will be changed to Active once they login. 


Active 

This is a user who has logged into the platform, has no outstanding password resets and hasn't been deactivated. 


Inactive 

This user will not be able to log into the platform as their account has been deactivated. Users can be re-activated if they need to regain access to the platform. 


Inactive identity

This is a type of user who can access multiple Creditsafe customer accounts and their login has been deactivated. They will not be able to log into the Creditsafe platform. 


Integration user

A user whose login is tied to an API service, and therefore some user actions are restricted to ensure API stability. 


Max login attempts reached

The user has entered the incorrect password the maximum amount of times. They will need to reset their password to be able to log in.
