Compliance settings in Salesforce will allow users to have pre-configured parameters for when they are screening businesses and individuals, or generating audits. When you get to the screening/audit areas, you are able to update these if the standard settings do not match your requirements; however, your default settings will mean you don't need to manually configure your parameters each time you screen or audit.

For more guidance on configuring Compliance settings in Salesforce, please view this interactive demonstration.

* Within the Compliance Settings component on the Account or Lead record page, you select which Salesforce field should provide the search value in Compliance in Salesforce.

Account Mapping:
Maps a selected Account field (e.g. Account Name) to the KYC search field (e.g. Company Name).

Lead Mapping:
Maps a selected Lead field (e.g. Company) to the KYC search field.

When a user initiates a KYC search using the component, it takes the value from the mapped Salesforce field and uses it as the input for the KYC search (typically the company name).

Example:
If “Account Name” is mapped to “Company Name,” the Account Name value will be used to search for the company in KYC.
