In KYC Protect, there are two types of alerts: KYC Alerts and AML Alerts.
KYC Alerts: These alerts relate to business changes for a company exported to KYC. They are generated for KYC Business Monitoring. Currently, there is no option to configure different email addresses for KYC Alerts, and emails are sent to the assignee of the business profile being monitored for business changes.
AML Alerts: These alerts are generated when an AML screening result is returned, either from initial screening or monitored searches. They provide detailed information about matches, allowing users to mark results as True Matches or False Positives. Users can also review recent changes to alerts and manage their monitored records efficiently.
In summary, KYC Alerts focus on business changes, while AML Alerts are concerned with screening results and compliance monitoring.
