Matching a company links your HubSpot company record to a verified Creditsafe company record. This enriches the HubSpot record with Safe Number, credit score, financials, and other mapped properties.

Below are the steps,


1. Open the Company Record in HubSpot

Go to CRM → Companies, then open the company you want to match.


2. Check the Creditsafe Panel on the Right

On the right‑hand side, you’ll see a card labelled CreditSafe (or similar—your labels may vary).
This panel uses:

  • the Company Name
  • the Country Code
    to search the Creditsafe database.

Ensure the Company Name and Country fields are populated before searching.


3. Run the Search

The connector automatically performs a search using the name + country.
You’ll see one or more possible matches appear in the results list.


4. Choose the Correct Company

Identify the correct company by checking:

  • Safe Number
  • Registration Number
  • Location

Click Actions on the correct result.


5. Click “Match”

Select Match (this may be presented in French as Fusionner in some environments).

HubSpot will confirm success with a “Match succeeded” message.


6. Refresh the Record

After matching, refresh the company record.

You will now see Creditsafe data populate automatically, such as:

  • Safe Number
  • Credit Limit
  • Company Status
  • Financials
  • Registration details

These fields populate based on your mapping configuration.


7. (Optional) View All Properties

To see everything that was imported:

  1. Click Actions → View All Properties.
  2. Check the Creditsafe property group.


Quick Troubleshooting


If the match button doesn’t appear or matching fails:

A. Missing Country Code / Country Region Code

The Creditsafe connector requires ISO 2‑digit country codes to match correctly.

B. Record not updated after matching

Refresh the page—HubSpot saves in real time.

C. Wrong connector installed

Ensure the Italian connector is uninstalled.
