You can learn how to configure the user roles available in KYC Protect by viewing this interactive demonstration. You can also follow the below steps:


  1. On the left menu of the Creditsafe homepage, click on KYC Protect 
  2. Click on Settings
  3. You will be taken to the settings in KYC Protect. In here, click on the User Configurations tab 
  4. Click on the Roles & Permissions tab
  5. You will be automatically taken to the Manager Role. You can navigate through the different roles in this area
  6. Select the role you would like to edit from the options on the left. For guidance on what the standard permissions are in each of these roles, please view this article
    • Please note: you cannot edit the Admin role 
  7. Tick or untick the permissions you want to have enabled/disabled for the role 
  8. When you have finished editing the role, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the red Save button 
  9. You will be notified that the permissions have updated 
  10. If would like to revert the permissions back to the defaults, click on the Reset to Default button at the bottom of the page
