Below are what each of the permissions mean and impact in KYC Protect:

Screen > Add to Profile > The ability to link a screened record to an existing profile would remain as it is, but ability to create a new profile from this journey will be suppressed
Modify ProfileLets user modify details on existing profile like the name, internal ID, addresses, contact details, notes, attachments etc.Profile Detail Page > All edit/pencil icons next to the fields on Profile header and Details section will be suppressed. User will be restricted from adding notes and attachments to the profile
Approve or Decline KYC StatusLets user set the KYC Status of profile as approved or declined. Users who don't have access to this permission can still move the KYC Status to other values like Pending, Referred, Cancelled or ClosedProfile Detail Page > Header > KYC Status dropdown > User will be restricted from setting the status to Approved or Declined
Export ProfileLets user to export the latest version of profile as a PDF report with timestamp (includes profile details, all key parties, all screening records and alerts)Profile Detail Page > The button 'Export Profile' will not be displayed to user
Delete ProfileLets the user delete existing profileProfiles page > The button 'Delete Profile' at the top right of the profiles table will be suppressed.
 On profiles table, when user clicks the 3-dot menu on a profile record, the option to Delete Profile will not be shown.
AML Screening, Monitoring & AlertsScreenLets the user run screening of businesses/individuals, either as a standalone action or via profileScreen page > For both Business and Individual screening, a relevant message will be displayed at the top of the page. User will not be able to run screening.
 Profile Detail page > The 'Screen' button will not be shown anywhere on the tabs on a profile (Business/Individual/Key parties/UBOs). They can however view the existing screened records.
Add To MonitoringLets the user add screened businesses/individuals to daily AML MonitoringProfile Detail page> Screen subtabs > The button 'Add to Monitoring' will not be displayed.
 On existing screened records, the button 'Add' will be disabled.
Modify CriteriaLets the user modify the threshold/AML Categories/ Sanction Lists/PEP Tiers of a record that's under monitoringProfile Detail page > Screen sub-tabs > When user clicks the 'Monitored' button against a screened record and a modal popup shows up, the fields Threshold, Categories, PEP Tiers, etc. will be disabled from editing and will be shown as read-only.
Process MatchesLets the user process AML Matches as true match, false positive or discarded with a noteProfile Detail page > Screen subtabs or Open Alerts tab > The 'Decision' column to mark an open alert as a true match/false positive will be suppressed. User will be restricted from adding notes to a match as well i.e., 'Add Note' button will not be shown.
Set Risk RatingLets the user provide a risk rating to a screened record (low, very low, medium, high, very high)Profile Detail page > Screen subtabs> On existing screened records, no edit icon will be displayed on Risk Rating field, it will be shown as a read-only text.
Set StatusLets the user set a status to the record screened (Approved, Declined, Pending, Cancelled, etc.)Profile Detail page > Screen subtabs> On existing screened records, no edit icon will be displayed on Status field, it will be shown as a read-only text.
Delete a recordLets the user remove a search record linked to a business/individual/keyparty/UBOProfile Detail page > Screen subtabs> On existing screened records, on clicking the 3-dot menu, no option will be displayed to Remove Search. The button 'Delete Searches' at the top of records table will be suppressed.
Remove from MonitoringLets the user abort the daily monitoring of an individual/businessProfile Detail page > Screen sub-tabs > When user clicks the 'Monitored' button against a screened record and a modal popup shows up, the button 'remove' will not be displayed.
Business Monitoring & AlertsAdd profile to Business MonitoringLets the user add a profile (created by importing a business report) to add to KYC Global Business MonitoringOn profiles created from a business report, the button 'Add to Business Monitoring' will be suppressed.
Process Business Monitoring AlertsLets the user process Business Alerts (change in directors or financials or international score) and add a noteProfile Detail page > Open Alerts > Business Alerts > The button 'Clear Alert' will be suppressed.
Remove from Business MonitoringLets the user abort the daily monitoring of a profile for business alertsOn profiles created from a business report and being monitored, the button 'Remove from Business Monitoring' will be suppressed.
BatchPerform Batch OperationsLets the user perform batch uploads. If user has this permission, we do not verify whether they have explicit permissions to perform screening/monitoring/profile creation etc. On Uploads page, the button 'Upload File' will rather be displayed as 'Get Template', on click of which, user will not be able to view a button to Upload File.
SettingsConfigure PreferencesLets the user configure screening and monitoring preferences for individuals and businesses, and set up distribution lists as AML Alert recipientsSettings > Preferences > All fields on the page will be disabled from editing, and the Save button will be suppressed.
Assign Roles to UsersLets the user assign roles (Admin/Manager/Analyst/Viewer) to other users within their customer accountSettings > User Configurations > Users > No 'edit' or pencil icon will be displayed on the users table, next to user's name. 
Configure PermissionsLets the user add/remove permissions for Manager/Analyst/Viewer rolesSettings > User Configurations > Roles & Permissions > All permission checkboxes will be disabled from modification
