If a customer using Customer Self Service also has Federated Login (single-sign on) enabled on their account, then there will be certain actions within Customer Self Service that they will not be able to perform. This is because these functions should be handled by the Customer internally within their organisation. 


The below functions will not be available if a Customer has Federated Login: 

  • Creating, deactivating and reactivating users - To create a new user or multiple new users, Customers need to contact their local support.
  • Resetting a password - If a user needs a password reset then the user will need to contact their organisation’s IdP admin. Creditsafe does not store passwords for Federated Login users. 
  • Resending an account activation - the account activation process is not used for Federated Login users.
