Answer: 

When editing a user in Customer Self Service, you can edit the following details:

  • First name
  • Surname
  • Mobile number. You can update a mobile number, but you cannot remove one
  • Language – This will update the language for the user in the user interface of the platform, and also in any emails that are sent to the user from the system.
  • User Permission preferences - This is for giving the user access to user management to view or edit other user permissions. If you don’t want the user to view or edit other users, please leave these blank.
  • Please note: In the User Permission Preferences, only one user can have the Account Owner role
  • You can reset the password, resend the activation email, or deactivate the user


You cannot update the users username/email address. If you want to change this, please contact your Creditsafe Account Manager
